From Da Nang Airport, you can travel to Hoi An by taxi, tourist car, or motorbike, taking around 40–60 minutes depending on your chosen vehicle and route.

Chu Lai Airport (VCL)
Previously located in Tam Nghia Commune, Nui Thanh District, Quang Nam Province, Chu Lai Airport was administratively reassigned and has been officially located in Nui Thanh Commune, Da Nang City since July 1, 2025. Chu Lai Airport is about 75–80 km from Hoi An, depending on the route. Travelling from the airport to the ancient town takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to nearly 2 hours.
Chu Lai Airport has a 3,050 m long runway, capable of handling both civilian and military aircraft. Currently, four airlines operate flights to and from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
On average, this airport has about 11 flights daily, mainly serving domestic passengers. To reach Hoi An, you can choose a taxi, shuttle bus, or public bus routes 05 and 10, running every 15 minutes from 5:30 to 18:00.

Phu Bai Airport (HUI)
Phu Bai Airport (Hue) is one of the options for travelling to the ancient town. Located in Thua Thien Hue province, about 120 km north of Hoi An, this is an international airport serving the central region. However, travel time from Phu Bai Airport to Hoi An takes about 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours, making it less convenient than Da Nang or Chu Lai airports if your main destination is Hoi An.
