In his new role, Mr. Saebel will oversee the strategic management and operations of the Group’s hospitality portfolio, including:
- Wyndham Hoi An Royal Beachfront Resort and Royal Beachfront Villas & Spa Danang Villas – 497 hotel rooms and suites offering refined coastal luxury, and 70 private pool villas (two- and three-bedroom) with serene garden and panoramic ocean views.
- Hotel Royal Hoi An Gallery – a 187-room luxury boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town.
An Esteemed Leader with Over Two Decades of Hospitality Excellence
Born in Munich, Germany, in 1974, Mr. Sven A. Saebel brings over 25 years of global hospitality experience, including more than two decades in Vietnam, where he has become one of the most respected international hoteliers in the country.
Mr. Saebel began his career with the prestigious Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, followed by advanced hospitality management studies in Kuala Lumpur and Thailand. His early career milestone at The Empire Hotel & Country Club in Brunei, a renowned seven-star resort, refined his expertise in luxury resort management and service excellence.
Since moving to Vietnam in the early 2000s, he has held numerous leadership positions across the nation’s most iconic properties, including:
- General Director, VIAS Hotels & Resorts – Vung Tau
- General Manager, Sunrise Premium Resort Hoi An
- General Director & General Manager – Imperial Vung Tau
- General Manager, Sunrise Resort & Spa Nha Trang
